What I Do
My passion is people and helping them to be their best. I have always been fascinated by how people behave, and interact, particularly in groups. Also, how culture is affected by, and affects, human behaviour.
I work with clients to help them become authentic/culturally-aware African leaders that can have a real impact on society using L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P. which is a model I developed.
There are two key elements to what I do.
The first is I help clients better understand themselves. One of my tools, the Kente Code, has been developed over several years by my team and myself. It helps the client understand his or her natural strengths and weaknesses, especially when it comes to establishing personal or professional partnerships that involve making and implementing policy.
The second is I help clients truly understand the culture within which they operate. You can read some of my learnings about Ghanaian society in my premier article Why We Ghanaians Are Smart People Trapped In Dumb Systems.
I have two online platforms – LEAD GHANA for corporate leadership and team work training and personal counselling and coaching and COACH GHANA where we highlight teams and projects aimed at young leaders.
As part of my consultancy activities, I conduct discrete coaching with top level executives as well as community service counselling with deserving cases from low income backgrounds.
